SOLS can provide funding for 14 days of subsidised locum relief per inancial year, plus locum travel costs.
Specialists can received up to $15,400 and GPs up to $11,550.To be eligible to apply for a SOLS locum, a Specialist must have a RANZCOG Fellowship, be an Overseas Trained Specialist or be in an Area of Need position; a GP must be credentialed to practice obstetrics in Australia.
